Rachael Sankey

I’m a Registered Nurse (Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria) and Public Health Nurse with 14+ years of experience in clinical care, community health outreach, and NGO-led public health programs across Nigeria. I combine curative and preventive services with psychosocial support, medical and forensic examination, and referral for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), while strengthening service delivery through training, retraining, and capacity building for health teams.

In my current role at Salama Sexual Assault Referral Center (SARC), I collect, generate, and interpret program data to support evidence-based service delivery, create demand through outreach and advocacy, and collaborate with Monitoring & Evaluation to process data using standardized tools. With additional training in Leadership in Health Management and Project Management in Global Health (University of Washington), I’m well positioned to drive project coordination, data collection and reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration—especially in a remote role.
