What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a supportive team where I can deliver safe, patient-centered maternal and newborn care, strengthen clinical documentation and emergency response skills, and contribute to health education and public-health research with a learning mindset.

I am a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse-Midwife with strong clinical training in maternal, newborn, and general nursing care. I provide safe, ethical, patient-centered support across diverse healthcare settings, with expertise in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal management, emergency response, patient assessment, medication administration, and health education. I also maintain accurate clinical documentation while working effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

In my clinical placements, I conducted comprehensive patient assessments and documented nursing findings accurately, including safe medication administration following the 6 rights of medication administration. I delivered bedside nursing care such as wound dressing, IV line care, vital sign monitoring, and fluid management, and I supported rotations across medical, surgical, pediatric, and emergency units. As a student midwife, I assisted in conducting normal deliveries under supervision, provided immediate newborn care, performed routine antenatal assessments (including abdominal palpation and fetal heart monitoring), and supported mothers during labour using breathing techniques and emotional support.

I am trained to contribute beyond bedside care through research and teaching. I conducted structured field research and quantitative data analysis for studies including “Socio-Cultural Factors Influencing Parental Approaches to Sexuality Education for Adolescents” and “Knowledge of Factors Associated with Ovarian Cancer among Women of Reproductive Age.” In teaching and health education roles, I delivered health talks and bedside instruction on hygiene, antenatal care, breastfeeding, newborn care, nutrition, family planning, and disease prevention, ensuring understanding through simple, culturally sensitive communication.

I actively support community health improvement through volunteering and leadership. I have participated in community outreach for maternal health, immunization awareness, adolescent health education, screening support, and antenatal/newborn education at primary health centres. I have also served as a Nursing Department group leader and a Midwifery peer mentor—supervising clinical group tasks, coordinating documentation, guiding peers during procedures, and encouraging motivation and teamwork—while strengthening my commitment to safe, patient-centered practice. I am also certified in Life Saving Skills (LSS) and Family Planning training, and I bring a consistently collaborative, evidence-based professional approach.
