At GE Aerospace, I’m a Component Repair Technician Trainee gaining hands-on experience with aerospace machining processes and production workflow.
I operate and monitor CNC machining equipment to process aerospace components in line with established procedures and quality requirements. I also prepare machines, check tooling, and complete operational checks before machining.
When machine, tooling, or process issues arise, I assist with troubleshooting and coordinate with engineers and maintenance personnel when required.
At Singapore Polytechnic, my Aeronautical Engineering diploma electives included aerospace component manufacturing, space technology, and unmanned aircraft systems. My final year project focused on functional applications of ANSYS in material simulations.
