Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients, according to the nursing skills inventory and the age and needs of the patient/population served. Coordinates the planning for the delivery of nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and administers appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care.

Provides high quality maternity care to both low-risk and high risk patients, including vital signs monitoring and physical examinations. Assesses fetal well-being through continuous electronic fetal monitoring, intervening when necessary. Implements and monitors individualized patient care and birth plans, addressing specific needs and complications during labor.

Assists patients upon admission, examination, delivery, treatment, and surgical procedures. Administers prescribed medications and monitors patient's vital signs. Monitors fetal heart rate and communicates any abnormalities to the physician on duty.

Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients & renders basic nursing care such as, first-aid treatment, wound dressing, etc. Conducts initial medical assessment of members through vital signs-taking prior to actual consult with the Physician. Accompanies employees to the nearest medical facility during emergency situations.

Studied a comprehensive curriculum in nursing science, encompassing patient care, medical procedures, and health management. Developed foundational knowledge and practical skills essential for professional nursing practice. Prepared for licensure and a career in diverse healthcare settings.
