Prathek Rao

I’m a skilled film editor with a passion for storytelling through visual storytelling, and I’m currently working as a Senior Associate Video Editor at Kapiva. I’ve progressed through roles at Kapiva from a Video Editor internship to Associate, building hands-on experience in the full editing workflow.

I work confidently across industry-standard tools including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects. I also bring strong finishing and creative support through motion graphics, color grading, and work in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

I’m trained with a Diploma in Film Editing from CRAFT FILM SCHOOL and a Diploma in Photography from LISAA School of Design Bangalore. I’m always eager to take on new challenges, push the boundaries of my creativity, and grow in film editing roles.
