I built The Food Hunt, a food eCommerce website, during my Class 11 Computer Engineering on-the-job training at Shree Brahma Rupa Secondary School.
Using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, I created a platform where users can browse food items, add products to a cart, and place online orders. I also implemented user registration, login, order history, and Cash on Delivery functionality.
I developed RESTful APIs for products, users, and orders, with JWT authentication, authorization, and protected routes. I connected the React frontend to the backend with Axios and used React Hooks and Context API for state management.
Through this project, I've strengthened my full-stack development, database management, UI/UX, debugging, teamwork, and project-planning skills. I'm ready to keep building larger real-world web applications.
