Prarthana Prarthana
@prarthanaprarthana
Cloud/DevOps enthusiast and open-source contributor who built Kubernetes tools for deployment risk and workload resilience.
IndiaWhat I'm looking for
Through GirlScript Summer of Code (GSSoC) 2026, I contributed to open-source projects focused on developer tooling, infrastructure reliability, testing, and local development. I implemented and merged an integration test using Testcontainers to run freshly built Docker images and validate CLI behavior.
I also designed and merged a Docker Compose setup for the Firebase emulator suite, covering Firestore, Auth, Functions, and Storage to simplify local development and testing.
I built DeployGuard, a pre-deployment analysis platform that evaluates Kubernetes workloads for security, resource efficiency, resilience, and placement. It includes deployment scoring, risk analysis, what-if analysis, and failure simulation.
I also built Workload Resilience Score to analyze Kubernetes workload placement, resilience, and infrastructure health, with resilience scoring, node health analysis, and recovery recommendations. I’m pursuing a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at Sri M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.
