Pragati Dhakal

I’m a Geomatics Engineer with hands-on experience across Remote Sensing and Geo Information, along with coordination and information management in development contexts. I currently work in Nepal, building practical spatial insights grounded in Earth Observation.

At ICIMOD, I contribute as a Remote Sensing and Geo Information Associate, working in a space where GIS, Remote Sensing, Spatial Analysis, and Earth Observation come together to support real-world decisions. Previously, as a Coordination and Information Management Officer at UNDP Nepal, I strengthened how information is organized, shared, and coordinated to support program needs.

I earned my B.E. in Geomatics from Kathmandu University (KU), and I bring that technical foundation into every project—always aiming to turn spatial data into clear, usable results. I enjoy roles where geospatial analysis is combined with strong information management and coordination.
