I build and commission PLC-based automation for production lines, from Caterpillar engine component assemblies to The Hershey Company refrigeration sequences. I program Siemens S7-1200/S7-1500 in TIA Portal, while also supporting live S7-300/400 installations still running Step 7 Classic.
I own SCADA and HMI delivery too—WinCC SCADA alarm handling, trending, and recipe/operator access, plus Wonderware InTouch runtime nodes and tag databases for plant-floor visualization. I also develop Comfort Panel and PanelView Plus screens with consistent navigation and alarm-priority conventions.
On the electrical and controls side, I configure Profinet/Profibus/EtherNet/IP/Modbus TCP networks, troubleshoot device drops with managed switch mirroring and Wireshark captures, and commission Siemens SINAMICS, ABB, and Danfoss VFDs. I write FAT/SAT end to end, run IQ/OQ/PQ validation, and perform point-to-point I/O checkout from 200 up to 2,500 points.
I’m hands-on with commissioning troubleshooting under time pressure—drive trips, encoder loss, comms dropouts, and nuisance E-stops—then I document root cause afterward. I also train maintenance electricians and operators on PLC online diagnostics, HMI alarm response, and safe forcing practices.

Program S7-1500 controllers in TIA Portal v18 for assembly tooling and automated torque equipment. Migrated legacy S7-300 stations and restructured interlock logic, contributing to a 10% reduction in line stoppages.
Designed control panels to UL 508A and programmed S7-1200 PLCs for conveyor and packaging systems. Built Wonderware InTouch applications and resolved SINAMICS G120 drive faults.
