Prafull Raj

I’m a Data Engineer at Cognizant, where I develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and automated data workflows using Python and SQL. I handle data extraction, transformation, and validation to deliver high-quality datasets, and I’m focused on cloud-based data integration and performance optimization. I also collaborate with teams to design reliable solutions and troubleshoot workflow issues to maintain system stability.

In parallel, I build data solutions that go beyond traditional pipelines. I’ve developed web scraping systems using Selenium and BeautifulSoup to extract data from JavaScript-rendered, dynamic websites (including pagination, infinite scroll, and nested structures). I also created data cleaning and validation pipelines for consistency across multiple sources, and implemented LLM-based automation workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

I strengthen my craft through continuous learning, including the Amazon ML Summer School 2023 and related certifications. I was awarded a 100% scholarship in B.Tech for academic excellence, and I’ve earned additional certifications through programs like Coursera and hackathons such as Coca-Cola Disrupt Season 3 and Amazon Summer School. I’m passionate about solving real-world data problems with efficient, reliable, end-to-end solutions.
