I’m a Credit Underwriting Analyst with 10 years of experience in banking, mortgage underwriting, and student education lending. I focus on credit risk management, portfolio management, and financial analysis to support accurate, compliant underwriting decisions.

In my recent role, I performed end-to-end underwriting for education loan applications for students pursuing higher education in the US and Canada. I evaluate financial documents, repayment capacity, funding gaps, and credit risk in line with underwriting policies, and I review credit, appraisal, and closing-related documentation to ensure readiness for processing.

I also build visibility and operational efficiency through data and tooling—designing Salesforce reports and dashboards that improved team visibility and workload allocation, and creating a centralized Cost of Attendance (COA) database that increased underwriting efficiency and consistency. Alongside underwriting process automation, loan standardization initiatives, and ABS data correction, I participated in multiple User Acceptance Testing (UAT) projects and partner-collaborated across Customer Support, Servicing, Compliance, and Funds Operations.
