I'm a biotechnologist turned budding software developer, blending a strong scientific background with a passion for tech. After graduating cum laude in biotechnology from the University of Johannesburg, where I immersed myself in everything from genetics to lab techniques, I jumped into the workforce. At Africa Spice, I honed my skills in microbiological testing and quality control, and then at Microchem Laboratory Services, I expanded into pathogen testing and mastered the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

But I've always been curious about the tech world, which led me to embark on a new journey: learning software development through an online bootcamp. I'm all in, soaking up coding languages and development frameworks, eager to test out what I've learned in real-world projects. I'm particularly keen on gaining hands-on experience to not only apply my current knowledge but also to learn new skills.

One of my standout qualities is my ability to learn quickly. Whether it was mastering complex lab techniques or diving into software development, I've always been able to pick up new skills at a fast pace. Now, I'm looking to blend my background in science with my newfound coding skills, aiming to make a mark in the tech industry.
