I’m an Investment Analyst with a strong Accounting foundation and a practical, fast-learning approach. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BCom/Accountancy) at the University of Botswana, building skills in financial management, auditing, taxation, and cost accounting—then applying that knowledge to real transactions.

Before joining investment work, I developed disciplined accounting habits and teaching strengths. As a Tutor at Kumon Tuition Center, I helped students understand key concepts and improved academic performance by preparing teaching materials and providing constructive feedback to students and parents.

In my accounting role at Excel Packaging, I supported day-to-day financial operations by balancing cash registers, managing petty cash, maintaining account books and systems, and preparing and issuing bills and invoices. I also handled incoming and outgoing payments, organized financial records, and sent timely statements to debtors and creditors.

At Botswana Development Corporation, I joined in May 2022 as an Investment Intern and was retained as a full-time Investment Analyst in November 2022. I develop and maintain detailed financial models (including sensitivity analysis and valuation outputs), prepare investment screening reports and concept papers, and support structuring equity, quasi-equity, and debt transactions through inputs into term sheets, shareholder agreements, security arrangements, and legal documentation. I also liaise with internal legal, ESG, tax, and risk teams to ensure alignment with the investment mandate and compliance frameworks, while monitoring portfolio performance and tracking post-investment deliverables to inform value creation initiatives. I’m motivated to extend my studies with a Master’s in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) or pursue a professional qualification through the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA).
