What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and use advanced financial models to support executive decisions—while continuing to grow in management accounting and CIMA-focused strategy.

I’m a Professional Accountant (SA) with 10+ years’ experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting across public and private sectors. I’m known for combining technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement to drive compliance, cost savings, and strategic growth.

In my current role as a Financial Administrator (Management Accounting Specialist) at the South African Reserve Bank, I led the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly variance reports. I also managed supplier payments, ensured compliance with financial policies, and conducted complex reconciliations with corrective actions.

Before that, I served as an Accountant at Atamelang Bus Transport Pty Ltd, where I oversaw end-to-end accounting processes and prepared annual financial statements. I analysed CAPEX and operational expenditure to strengthen financial controls, coordinated external audits, and ensured VAT compliance.

I previously worked as a Senior Accounting Clerk and Accounting Clerk supporting financial reporting, tax returns, VAT and PAYE reconciliations, and SARS queries. I’m currently awaiting CIMA Strategic Case Study results and recently completed a Financial Modelling course at the University of Cape Town—so I can better support executive decision-making with advanced financial models.
