At dnata Zanzibar, an Emirates Group subsidiary, I lead the end-to-end finance and accounting function across financial control, reporting, liquidity, working capital, commercial finance, governance, and ERP transformation. I manage a balance sheet of approximately USD 10 million and identified funding requirements that resulted in a USD 2.9 million cash injection.
I've established finance functions, strengthened transaction, stock, and reporting controls, and contributed to four consecutive clean audits with zero adverse findings. My work spans IFRS reporting, month-end close, AP, AR, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, audit, CAPEX business cases, and financial modelling.
Across dnata, Lootah Group of Industries, and Dairibord Malawi, I've supported manufacturing, FMCG, agribusiness, and aviation operations. I've led SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, improved profit margins by 5%, reduced packaging costs by 15%, and secured approximately USD 1 million in bank debt financing for expansion.
