I’m looking to build production-quality core platform products in agile, remote teams, with Pacific Time overlap, owning full-stack features and backend event-driven systems on AWS.

I’m a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 6+ years building production-quality software for core products and platforms. I combine strong backend depth with React/TypeScript front-end work to deliver end-to-end features that ship reliably.

My backend toolkit includes Node.js, Golang, and Java (Spring Boot), alongside REST & GraphQL APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems. I’ve worked extensively with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS (EKS, S3, CloudFront), containerized with Docker and orchestrated via Kubernetes—using Test Driven Development and agile remote collaboration with Pacific Time overlap.

Most notably, at Sigma Software (Chewy) I led 0→1 self-service return orchestration and instrumented analytics that contributed to ~40% reduction in return-related support (~$8.6M annual savings). I also built core platform features for the Online Returns Center with CI/CD and an SSR-focused Next.js/React/TypeScript front end.

Earlier, at Rei Do Pitaco I built high-scale transaction services and designed a PostgreSQL wallet ledger/event workflow on Kafka over AWS EKS, and I led 10+ A/B tests with Statsig, increasing user retention by 25%. At Encora and prior roles, I migrated AngularJS to Next.js, improved Elasticsearch search performance by 40%, and tripled outbound dialing speed with telephony microservices using Spring Boot and RabbitMQ.
