Pedro Martim Lota
@pedromartimlota
Data Analyst at Elementis building Power BI and Python dashboards to monitor operational trends and present risks to senior stakeholders.
PortugalWhat I'm looking for
At Deloitte, I built statistical credit risk models—including Loss Given Default, Probability of Default, and Credit Conversion Factor—for banks in Angola and Mozambique and the largest Portuguese bank. I used SQL and SAS on credit portfolio data and developed dashboards to present findings to business users.
At Elementis, I built reporting and dashboards in Power BI and Python to monitor trends and key operational metrics. I investigate deviations, quantify their impact, and present risks to senior stakeholders each month.
My analytics work also includes forecasting for Goodyear and Sogrape. My risk experience is in credit risk rather than fraud, and I’m interested in applying my statistical background and experience identifying patterns to fraud analysis and rule-based mitigations.
