Pawan Sharma
@pawansharma1
PhD researcher in High Energy Physics with expertise in detector simulation and ML-driven analysis.
What I'm looking for
I am a PhD researcher in High Energy Physics with hands-on experience in detector simulation, Monte Carlo studies and machine-learning-based reconstruction for the CBM experiment. I have developed C++ simulation code within the CBMROOT framework, used GEANT3/GEANT4 and ROOT extensively, and applied Boosted Decision Trees and deep learning to boost di-muon detection efficiency.
My background includes an M.Sc. in Physics from IIT Roorkee and a B.Sc. from Central University of Rajasthan; I have contributed to geometry optimization and absorber layout studies for the MuCh detector and performed numerical physics studies including Fortran code for Coriolis attenuation in deformed nuclei. I work effectively on Linux/Unix environments and enjoy pairing physics insight with computational techniques to improve experiment performance.
