At TrueConf, I contributed core features to a shared C++ chat library for single-node and clustered Enterprise deployments. I replaced redundant chat database reads with a thread-safe, event-invalidated TTL cache, cutting CPU usage by 30% under load testing.
I also redesigned federated membership resolution and message delivery to address race conditions and failure boundaries. I rebuilt a legacy Python load-testing setup as a multiprocessing framework, added a 1M+ message generator, and migrated the tooling to Docker.
