At Transtejo Soflusa, S.A., I worked across technical, operational and maintenance roles, including as Director of Ship Maintenance and Director of Ship Operations. I was superintendent for the construction project involving 10 electric fiberglass vessels and supported the fleet’s operational implementation in Portugal.
I also managed contracts for the electric fleet’s batteries, maintenance, dry-docking and major interventions. My work included coordinating the rehabilitation and operational implementation of the Eborense in Bissau, and accompanying inspections by classification societies and DGRM.
At Formar - Pólo de Lisboa, I teach Technical and Schematic Drawing and Refrigeration Systems, as well as courses for second-class practical machinists. Earlier, at ATEC, I taught and consulted part-time in air conditioning and industrial refrigeration.
My maritime engineering experience spans passenger, offshore support, drilling, RO-RO and tanker vessels. I’ve worked on machinery operation and maintenance, preventive maintenance planning, and shipyard dry-docking; I’ve also taught maritime engineering at Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique. I use SAP, AMOS and ManWinWin for maintenance work.
