What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a marine engineering role where I can keep building on my cadet experience, improve my technical maintenance skills, and work in a safety-driven environment that values readiness and responsibility.

I’m a marine engineer cadet currently serving on board Island Frontier. I’m also pursuing an undergraduate course in Marine Engineering at Prince Henry Nautical College (EQF level 6).

Before focusing on marine engineering, I built strong operational habits as a lifeguard. I monitored the designated area for potential hazards, enforced safety rules, and performed rescues with first aid when necessary, while maintaining rescue equipment and keeping the beach clean.

I later worked as a Vehicle Maintenance Attendant, handling fuel system repairs (including fuel contamination issues, fuel filter replacement, and repairing or replacing fuel injectors) and glow plug replacements. I also completed regular maintenance like oil changes, air filter replacements, and overall inspections to prevent major issues.
