PAUL MWANGI
@paulmwangi4
Detail-oriented legal assistant and LLB graduate focused on research and compliance.
What I'm looking for
I’m a detail-oriented LLB graduate (Second Class Upper Division) currently pursuing a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law. I bring practical experience across legal research, regulatory compliance, consumer protection, and judicial processes, with a professional ethos built on accuracy, confidentiality, and organized follow-through. I’m known for clear written communication, stakeholder coordination, and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
In my Legal Assistant role at the Communications Authority of Kenya (Consumer Protection & Advocacy), I compiled, analysed, and drafted reports, briefing notes, and position papers to support departmental leadership. I coordinated meetings end-to-end—organizing agendas, preparing minutes, and tracking follow-up actions—while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting departmental records and databases. I also supported workshops, events, and consumer outreach logistics, and drafted official correspondence and responses for senior officers.
Earlier, through my Judicial Attachment Intern experience at Murang’a Law Courts, I supported court administrators and magistrates with scheduling, file management, and daily operations. I prepared case summaries, compiled reports, maintained registry records, and helped ensure timely documentation and smooth coordination with litigants, advocates, and court staff. I also handled administrative and research support through freelance work from 2021–2023, strengthening my ability to produce structured analytical documents—skills I’m now eager to apply in a dynamic legal, corporate, or insurance environment.
