What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an opportunity to apply hands-on cloud, network, and systems security skills, including vulnerability assessment, security monitoring, infrastructure hardening, and remediation.

I've built hands-on security environments spanning AWS, Windows Server, Linux, and home network infrastructure, with a focus on detecting, validating, and remediating real-world risks.

In a self-hosted Wazuh SIEM lab, I simulated SSH brute-force, privilege-escalation, and account-creation attacks, mapped 28 alerts to six MITRE ATT&CK tactics, and assessed 67 critical and 457 high-severity CVEs. I also built a misconfigured AWS environment, used Prowler against the CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark, and remediated critical public-data exposure and high-severity findings through re-scans.

I've engineered a Raspberry Pi-based OpenWrt security stack with WAN/LAN segmentation, DNS filtering for more than 251,000 malicious and ad-serving domains, WireGuard, Tailscale, and Prometheus/Grafana telemetry.

I also deployed an Active Directory environment on Windows Server 2025, automated account and group provisioning with PowerShell to reduce setup time by 60%, and enforced security policies through GPOs. As a Korean Student Association leader, I coordinated partnerships, board operations, and campaigns that sustained 90% event attendance.
