This consultancy was carried out for the Arraial do Cabo Marine Extractive Reserve (RESEXMAR-AC)/ICMBio, with the aim of correlating the impacts of tourism on the extractive community of traditional fishermen in the region. This work guided public policies aimed at conservation, preservation and promotion of sustainable environmental and social development.

I work as a volunteer in different sectors of the Serra dos Órgãos National Park (PARNASO), in Rio de Janeiro, developing expeditions, research, and providing veterinary support as needed. In 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, I was responsible for developing and executing the park's reopening plan, ensuring the application of health protocols.

My duties ranged from animal health maintenance and management to the execution of the main experiments, team management, data collection and analysis statistics, team training and design and execution of research projects. As we work with the main companies in the world market, I was also responsible for visits by industry representatives to the laboratory facilities.

During my PhD, I developed research focused on the concept of One Health, exploring the relationship between human, animal and environmental health. My work involved the detection of pathogens in wild and domestic animals in Conservation Units, using advanced parasitological diagnostic and molecular biology techniques.

During my master's degree, I deepened my studies in the area of molecular biology and applied parasitology, developing innovative methodologies for DNA extraction from ectoparasites. My research focused on optimizing accessible techniques for diagnosing parasites, ensuring greater accuracy and viability in different laboratory contexts.

During my multidisciplinary residency, I worked to promote public health, focusing on zoonoses and public health, providing information to underprivileged communities and carrying out awareness-raising activities on diseases transmitted by animals.
