Parvathy Muraleedharan

I’m a Ph.D. researcher in Geography focused on urban studies, combining research and teaching to help organizations tackle real city challenges. I bring strong communication, work ethic, and a passion for education and research to every project I join.

As a Project Assistant on “Assessment of Urban Growth and Multidimensional Performance of Residential Environment and Urban Planning using Geospatial Technologies” for Madurai city, I collected reliable secondary data from government sources and processed it with statistical approaches to extract trends. I applied spatial techniques using JAMOVI and ArcGIS, then created cartographic representations to clearly visualize results.

I also have hands-on Higher Secondary teaching experience with the CBSE curriculum. I developed and delivered lesson plans, conducted regular assessments, and provided personalized guidance to support diverse learning needs—while maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

My academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Geography, plus a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Geography, and I’ve been recognized with university ranks at the graduate and postgraduate levels. I’m UGC NET qualified (Assistant Professor) and actively present research on topics such as smart sustainable cities, urban sprawl detection, and related urban issues.
