Pamela Williams
@pamelawilliams1
Interpretive Coach and tour operations supervisor specializing in visitor engagement through dynamic, accurate storytelling.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Interpretive Coach with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance, and I build engaging interpretive experiences that turn historical and scientific information into clear, memorable connections for diverse audiences.
Since May 2024, I’ve served as an Interpretive Coach with Aramark at Denali National Park, advising and supervising employees, developing written interpretive guides for audio/visual use, assessing visitor needs, and training new staff to deliver tours, safety information, and rules with confidence. Alongside that, I’ve worked with Holland America and Princess Cruise Lines as an Escorted Tour Operations Supervisor, coordinating tour directors, serving as a point of contact for issues, auditing tours to standards, and handling emergency calls with the next-step approach.
My background also includes visitor center and docent roles (breathing life into programs, walking tours, and interpretive techniques), plus hands-on experience supporting public safety and community engagement—whether working as an Activities Aide, a Kennels Intern, or in dog yard operations. I bring strong customer service, research-driven program development, and calm communication under pressure to every guest interaction.
