Pace Ockerman

I am a dedicated computer science student with a dual degree in Linguistics, currently pursuing my B.S. at the University of Maryland. With a strong GPA of 3.9, I have developed a solid foundation in both technical and analytical skills. My experience includes a technical internship at ARLIS, where I trained computer models to predict personality traits from text and presented my findings at a conference as part of a top project.

Additionally, I have interned at the JHU Applied Physics Lab, where I improved missile defense systems and worked with classified computing systems. My role as a Teaching Assistant allowed me to co-lecture a course on the Python Flask web framework, enhancing my ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. I am passionate about leveraging my skills in machine learning and data analysis to solve real-world problems.
