Pablo Damasceno
@pablodamasceno
Software Engineer at Function Health who built GraphQL APIs and a cross-service system to identify and scrub sensitive data.
What I'm looking for
At Function Health, I developed and maintained Python middleware and GraphQL APIs backed by PostgreSQL. I also implemented a cross-service system to identify and scrub personally identifiable information across databases and microservices.
I designed Google Cloud Functions for business logic and event-driven Pub/Sub processing, and implemented an API-driven migration job to sync data securely across environments. I also acted as coordination lead for a major backend decoupling initiative.
At Imperva and jSonar, I developed and maintained SonarW, a columnar NoSQL database, in C++. Earlier, at Autotrac, I collaborated on a migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL that reduced annual operational and licensing costs by over CDN$630k, and developed communication systems for fleet monitoring.
