I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 7+ years building SaaS systems in cybersecurity and payroll. I focus on distributed systems, cloud (AWS/GCP), and Kubernetes, improving reliability, performance, and scalability with strong system design and long-term maintainability in mind.

At Buk Spa (HR & Payroll), I worked on a mission-critical payroll system for Colombia, ensuring accurate calculations aligned with local labor and tax regulations. I reduced production issues by 60–80% through proactive debugging and structural code improvements, delivered features end-to-end across backend and frontend, and implemented regulatory changes to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

Previously at KRIPTOS, I led a redesign of a cloud document classification agent to improve scalability and maintainability, reducing SLA response times by ~40% by identifying bottlenecks. I built and supported asynchronous workflows using queues and background workers, helped integrate machine learning models into production, and supported onboarding for new engineers.
