At InstaDeep (BioNTech Group), I own the backend for Cooper, the AI assistant behind DeepPCB and the product’s largest 2026 launch. I built its chat-completions API, token streaming, agent tool-calling, conversation persistence, and per-user token budgets.

I moved board mutations server-side so Cooper can act on designs under enforced authentication, authorization, and rate limiting. I also capped LLM usage with Redis-based daily token quotas before launch.

I’ve improved DeepPCB’s reliability and platform visibility by replacing a bespoke streaming stack with native SSE, eliminating a recurring 404 window for new boards, and building its first OpenTelemetry and Grafana observability layer. I also redesigned alerting, led an event-sourcing pilot with Marten and Wolverine, and rewrote a Python hot path in C#/.NET for a 6x throughput gain.

Alongside product work, I built a multi-tenant dental-clinic platform solo, with a .NET API, Next.js applications, WPF client, and mobile shells. I care about systems that are secure by construction, testable at scale, and practical for real users.
