At Teesside University, I teach and lead modules in manufacturing engineering, supply chain, manufacturing systems, and product quality and reliability. I also supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students and assessed final-year project presentations.
My research examines Lean tools, ERP systems, and performance improvement in manufacturing SMEs. I published frameworks for ERP system implementation and selection, drawing on work to understand businesses’ processes and map their “As to Be” processes.
I have worked as an ERP Implementation Consultant at E-Max Systems and supported ERP-related work at Industrial & Marine Hydraulics. My experience also includes lecturing and programme leadership in engineering manufacturing at Darlington college and Sunderland college.
