What I'm looking for

I seek a hands-on SOC or security engineering role where I can detect and respond to threats, improve controls, and mentor others in a collaborative, learning-focused team.

I am a hands-on cybersecurity professional with practical SOC experience in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. I work daily with SIEM and EDR tools to monitor, triage, and mitigate security incidents for critical clients.

At CyberSOC Africa I assisted in implementing security controls, tuned onboarding processes, and investigated complex incidents including insider threats, malicious PowerShell executions, backdoors, and trojans through in-depth log analysis. I also design secure network and cloud environments in collaboration with senior engineers.

I contribute to capacity building by creating training materials, delivering cybersecurity awareness sessions, and leading intern training on SIEM tools. I hold CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credentials and am pursuing the Google Cybersecurity Professional pathway.
