At Reloj Makech Studio, I edit and design books for self-publishing authors and academic clients. I also work as an editor and editorial designer at SmartPress, preparing independent publications and work for UNAM.
My editorial work has included editing for Grupo Editorial Patria [Hachette/Larousse] and founding and editing Deep Focus Magazine, a digital magazine about film analysis and audiovisual media. I’ve also worked as a copy editor for El Independiente de Hidalgo and other publications.
As a journalist and content creator, I’ve written for publications including La Jornada, UnoMásUno, Diario Síntesis, and El Financiero. My work has included weekly columns on music, literature, and film.
I teach and advise students on academic theses, from undergraduate to doctoral level. At Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, Unidad Hidalgo [UPN-H], I combined editorial work with university teaching, film-club coordination, and thesis advising.
