Statistics-turned data analyst focused on ETL, SQL, and analytics using Python and relational databases.
What I'm looking for
I’m a statistics graduate building practical skills in data analysis, SQL, database design, and ETL development. I work end-to-end—extracting data, cleaning and transforming it, storing it in relational databases, and producing insights through querying and reporting.
Through hands-on projects, I’ve developed ETL pipelines in Python that handle XML, CSV, and JSON sources, and I’ve built a web scraping pipeline using BeautifulSoup to extract structured tabular data. I also design and manage SQLite tables and write optimized SQL queries with joins and aggregations to improve performance and data quality.
I’m currently pursuing the IBM Data Engineering Professional Certificate to strengthen my expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, big data technologies, and business intelligence. My final-year work applied Random Walk transformations, transition probability matrix methods, and an ARIMA model to analyze Nigeria’s monthly inflationary rates from 2003 to 2023, including diagnostics for forecasting.

Analysis of Nigeria Inflation Rates
Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta
Analyzed Nigeria monthly inflationary rates (2003–2023) using Random Walk and transition probability matrix methods to derive stable state probabilities. Built and validated an ARIMA model for forecasting, including diagnostic checks and visualization of results.
ETL and Web Scraping Project
IBM Labs
Developed Python ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from XML, CSV, and JSON files. Built a BeautifulSoup-based web scraping pipeline, stored results in SQLite, and used SQL to clean, join, aggregate, and optimize queries for analysis.
