At the University of the West of England, Bristol, I studied carbon dynamics in a rewilded grassland with Wild Carbon Fund and Sheepdrove Organic Farm. I developed and tested a transparent chamber for gas-exchange measurements and used field sampling and spatial analysis to examine carbon and ecological patterns.
I also developed an MRV-oriented carbon monitoring toolkit for Wild Carbon Fund, supporting baseline sampling, spatially informed monitoring, uncertainty reporting and credible carbon claims. Alongside my research, I teach biology and scientific problem-solving at Study Group, Cardiff University International Study Centre, and botany at Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi.
