Before DaVita Labs, I was Lab Supervisor / Lab Management at Quest Diagnostics, where I planned and directed laboratory work and provided technical and scientific oversight. I oversaw quality assurance, inspection preparation, staffing, and competency evaluation.
At Borinquen Laboratory Inc., I supervised the Urinalysis and Parasitology team and performed testing across laboratory departments. I redesigned the department of Urinalysis and Parasitology, innovating its documentation process and skills; the management then promoted me to supervisor.
My work at Hospital HIMA San Pablo included collecting, processing, and analyzing samples, as well as generalist testing and blood bank procedures. I’ve also volunteered to provide cholesterol, glucose, and other tests at elderly homes and schools.
