At Aditya Birla Capital, I worked as an Investment Research Intern on an analysis of investment opportunities in the Consumer Durables sector.
I created and tracked a sector-weighted Consumer Durables Index daily, and built a ₹10 crore model portfolio across 11 companies with daily NAV tracking. I also designed a Fund Fact Sheet for the Consumer Durables Sector Fund.
I applied technical indicators including RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci, and Super Trend, and conducted back-testing on Consumer Durables stocks. I also used P/E, PEG, and financial ratios for stock ranking and portfolio construction.
In my project analysis, I identified Asian Paints, Berger, and Crompton as the strongest stocks through fundamental and technical analysis. The sector index grew from 1000 to 1183.51, and the fund NAV closed at ₹10.29.
