Nirupama Mohapatra Das

I am a passionate mathematics educator with over 30 years of experience teaching senior secondary students, including 5 years of online teaching for students from India, UAE, Singapore, and Canada. I bring an “always learning” mindset and a strong commitment to nurturing learners—supported by an outstanding record including All India CBSE Toppers.

Since July 2000, I have been working as P.G.T and Head of the Department, Mathematics, in a school environment where I also support educators in their professional growth. My core work includes school administration, classroom evaluation, curriculum development and improvement, leadership, and team building—so teaching quality stays consistent and measurable.

I also contribute as a trainer and development specialist, including experience as a Trainer for Google tools and competency-based education initiatives. I conduct virtual training sessions on Google tools for Education, participate actively in Google Educator groups, and have been appointed by CBSE to lead competency-based test item writing training across schools, delivering 18 virtual sessions.

Beyond classroom impact, I support broader instructional design and assessment work: I have trained as an item writer for Mathematics (including CBSE collaboration efforts), served as a subject expert and review team member for Applied Mathematics books and case study-based learning, and been part of a CBSE subject expert team for podcast creation. I want to bring this blend of teaching excellence, training capability, and evaluation rigor to a role where education quality and student outcomes continuously improve.
