Nilesh Pendpale

I’m a driven Data Analyst with over a year of experience across financial analysis, predictive modeling, and data science. I bring a practical approach to turning messy data into decisions—grounded in Python, machine learning, and clear visualization.

In my Data Analyst role (January 2023 – April 2024) at Asokadvisor financial advisor firm, I performed in-depth analysis of macroeconomics indicators and technical analysis for equity markets. I also managed and represented client portfolios, aligning performance with client objectives, while engineering and back testing trading strategies using Python algorithms tailored to requirements.

As a Data Science and Machine Learning Intern, I delivered customer-tailored projects and deployed working proof-of-concepts. I built a Fraud Detection solution for the online sports betting industry, creating a data pipeline (2402,24), engineering custom features, selecting the Gradient Boost Classifier, and deploying the final product on cloud using Heroku and Streamlit. I also developed a cost prediction project in EdTech, using Tableau dashboards and model tuning to select the Extra Trees Regressor based on a 92% coefficient of determination.

My training and project work strengthened my end-to-end workflow: data preprocessing (imputation, outlier treatment, normalization, discretization), exploratory analysis (AutoEDA, D-Tale, Pandas Profiling), and deployment. I’m especially motivated by roles where I can combine analytical depth with production-minded execution using modern tools and cloud platforms.
