Owned the backend of a warehouse management system processing tens of thousands of orders per day. Migrated PHP 7.4 to 8.2 with zero downtime, improved database performance by redesigning indexes for a monolithic log table, and built a partner app store using Inertia.js and Livewire while mentoring junior developers.

Built a cross-platform IoT platform on Laravel 12 for MQTT device ingestion with PostgreSQL and Laravel Reverb for real-time updates. Implemented role-based API security with Sanctum and delivered under TDD with feature and end-to-end coverage.

Structured the API layer using repository pattern and SOLID service boundaries to deliver 600+ production endpoints supporting high traffic. Built HMAC-signed outbound webhooks and a cursor-based event feed using Redis-backed queues, led Laravel 10→12 and Nuxt 2→3 migrations, and increased test coverage from 22% to 78%.

Built eCommerce checkout systems across three CRMs and three payment gateways, owning authentication, webhooks, retry semantics, and data consistency. Developed a Shopify subscription app using GraphQL with Redis-backed Laravel Queues, migrated Laravel 6→10 and PHP 7.2→8.2, and introduced automated testing to reach 78% coverage.

Completed an MSc in Physics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata from 2016 to 2021.
