Works with student policy team members at the University of Florida to create, promote, and pass various pieces of 'common sense' legislation through the state legislature. Performed research on housing, zoning regulations, and tailored proposals to sitting member backgrounds.

Selected as one of Florida’s top collegiate leaders to participate in a nonpartisan, solutions-oriented summit. Participated in panel discussions with policymakers and industry leaders, and worked in a team to research, develop, and present a policy proposal addressing Florida’s home insurance crisis.

Competed against 70+ teams to win a $10,000 NASA grant and contract for a proposed Mycoponics system on the ISS. Chaired a NASA proposal review panel and developed a 30+ page technical proposal based on prototyped designs and NASA specifications.

Designing and creating a 'smart cane' that can detect obstacles and alert the user via audio or vibration feedback. Served as a mentor for Adapt-a-thon, a yearly service event where modified toys are sent to families with children who have disabilities.

Explored a case study to determine an evolutionary relationship between SLFN 11 and a lab-generated plasmid expressed protein, using Alphafold 3 and ChimeraX for 3D protein structure predictions. Participated in journal club discussions and gave research presentations.

Leading a 6-member cross-functional team to execute technical projects. Led the creation of the official GatorTech website.

Led the creation of 6 ramps for disabled veterans and community members in conjunction with Saint Johns Housing Partnership. Led various garbage pickups on/near industry sites and community residential areas.
