What I'm looking for

I am seeking a secondary teaching role where I can apply student-centered instruction, mentoring, and exam preparation skills in a collaborative school environment that values growth.

I am an experienced and passionate Geography teacher with a strong grounding in physical, human, and environmental geography, qualified to teach secondary students up to year 12. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Arts, and I bring many years of classroom practice across multiple schools.

I design and implement diverse teaching strategies and lesson plans that address varied learning styles, regularly assess student progress, and prepare learners for international examinations. I also have experience teaching English and Shona, and delivering adult and continuing education classes.

My roles have included mentoring students, providing guidance and counselling, maintaining attendance and academic records, liaising with parents and guardians, and collaborating with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into the curriculum. I have also supported disadvantaged students through mentorship and donor liaison activities.
