At Banco Davivienda, I led the migration of more than 45 on-premise middleware services to AWS, running them as Docker containers on ECS/Fargate alongside EC2, Lambda, RDS, and SQS. I provisioned the infrastructure with Terraform and configured it with Ansible, reducing the bank’s licensing costs.
I coordinated more than 30 monthly production deployments for the Super App and bank APIs using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD. As incident commander for the AWS environment, I reduced MTTR from 20 to 5 minutes and cut recurring incidents by 30%.
I sustained 99.9% availability across more than 20 production APIs against a 99.5% SLA, defining SLOs and monitoring with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, and New Relic. I also validated RDS failover resilience and instrumented end-to-end tracing with OpenTelemetry for Rediseño de Crédito Móvil and Preaprobado Digital.
Earlier at Banco Davivienda, I led a zero-downtime migration of about 2,000 integration-bus services from IBM Integration Bus v9 to ACE 12. At IBM de Colombia & CIA SCA, I led phase two of online bill payments, taking payment application time from up to 24 hours to real time.
