At One Legal Limited, I support counsel in civil, criminal, and family litigation across New Zealand courts, including the Court of Appeal. I draft pleadings, applications, and trial materials, and prepare bail applications and sentencing submissions.
At Messrs Ee Yen Chin & Co, I assisted with civil litigation and attended case management and hearings up to the Federal Court. I conducted Magistrate Court trials as lead counsel and advised clients on risks, compliance, and dispute prevention.
Earlier, I supported litigation and conveyancing work at several Malaysian firms, including preparing legal documents and assisting with debt recovery files. As a Legal Assistant at Messrs Lee & Lim, I also trained new staff on legal documentation and processes.
My experience spans Malaysian and New Zealand legal work, with litigation, legal research, drafting, and review at its core. I’ve also translated evidence and instructions for Mandarin-speaking clients.
