I’m an MSc IT student with hands-on experience in VAPT, network security, and threat analysis. I completed a 3-month VAPT internship with practical exposure to vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security reporting.

In my VAPT internship, I conducted vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on web applications and internal network infrastructure. I performed reconnaissance using Nmap for port scanning and service enumeration, analyzed traffic with Wireshark, and documented findings with structured risk ratings and remediation recommendations.

I also helped translate vulnerabilities into actionable security context by mapping identified issues to MITRE ATT&CK tactics and techniques. I’m comfortable working with security frameworks and concepts such as NIST CSF and SIEM (theory), and I focus on evidence-based conclusions.

Beyond VAPT, I’m building toward SOC impact through log analysis, alert triage, and incident response support. My hands-on “Home SOC & Attack/Defend Lab” work strengthened my understanding of log monitoring and system hardening in isolated environments.
