Nathan Dorado

At Philippine Rice Research Institute, I lead and monitor infrastructure projects from planning and estimating through implementation, inspection, documentation, and closeout support. I prepare detailed estimates, quantity takeoffs, technical specifications, and project schedules.

I review architectural, structural, civil, and utility drawings for constructability, scope, quantities, and coordination needs. I also develop and revise CAD drawings for civil works, building improvements, drainage, and site development.

Previously, as Draftsman & Project Engineer at Global Agriculture Policy Institute, I prepared and revised engineering drawings, assisted with takeoffs and cost estimates, and conducted site inspections. I coordinated with contractors and project stakeholders and prepared progress reports and technical documentation.

My earlier work includes site engineering at Sub-Con (Wizard Construction Corp.) and freelance civil engineering support for residential projects. I’m a Licensed Civil Engineer with experience in construction estimating, PlanSwift quantity takeoff, AutoCAD drafting, and field coordination.
