What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an early-career role where I can strengthen my investment due diligence and research skills, partner with a team on data-driven recommendations, and contribute to rigorous analysis across markets, funds, or deal sourcing.

I’m a Finance student building strong fundamentals through teaching, research, and hands-on investment work. I’ve supported learning and evaluation in finance by helping students understand key investment concepts, valuation models, and market theory.

As a Venture Capital Intern with University Venture Fund Crossroads, I sourced and evaluated new deals, conducted investment due diligence, and produced market research and financial analysis for early-stage opportunities. I analyzed extensive datasets across economic sectors and collaborated with senior analysts to develop investment recommendations for the Investment Committee.

In my Private Equity Investment Analyst Intern role at Utah Retirement Systems, I supported due diligence across Venture Capital, Growth Equity, Buyout, and Special Situations funds. I evaluated fund strategies, market trends, portfolio positioning, and manager performance, and helped prepare Investment Committee materials while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines with accuracy.

Beyond investing, I bring an analytical, advisory mindset from consulting and research. At Jayhawk Consulting, I prepared a Confidential Business Review with financial, market, and operational analysis to support valuation and buyer readiness, and at KU’s construction safety center I edited 50+ academic articles, prepared budgets for grant proposals totaling over $25 million, and supported data analysis and technical writing.
