At Gijima OHES, I managed monthly occupational hygiene services across seven Thungela coal-mining sites in Mpumalanga. I coordinated surveys and technical deliverables across underground and opencast operations, and improved workload planning to give the team clearer ownership.
I led, coached and assessed nine occupational hygiene employees. Four progressed to higher professional levels, including three who achieved ROHT registration and one who achieved ROH registration.
From November 2025 until I left Gijima OHES, I held SANAS Technical Signatory authorisation and approved work within the organisation’s accredited occupational hygiene scope. I also reviewed technical reports and introduced preventative quality checks to improve consistency.
At AssureCloud, I combined occupational hygiene consulting with Deputy Quality Manager responsibilities, supporting the Occupational Hygiene Inspection Body’s QMS in line with ISO/IEC 17020 and SANAS requirements. I’ve also conducted exposure risk assessments, surveys and measurement programmes, turning findings into practical control recommendations.
