Nancy Toussaint

I am a registered nurse with progressive experience in telemetry, progressive care and remote telephone triage, currently serving as a Telephone Triage Nurse Clinician III since 2020. I combine acute-care bedside experience with remote triage workflows to ensure timely, appropriate care.

I have a strong clinical background managing critically ill patients, sepsis recognition and treatment, critical drips, IV drug therapy, wound and enteral feeding management, and anticoagulation education. I was recognized as employee of the month (November 2017) and received a nursing award for outstanding patient care and multidisciplinary collaboration in May 2018.

My inpatient roles have included telemetry, med-surg and progressive care units where I performed cardiac monitoring, neuro exams, medication administration, lab collection, admissions/discharges/transfers and direct collaboration with physicians to optimize treatment plans. I routinely educate patients and families and mentor new staff to support care continuity and safety.

I hold ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications and an Associate of Science in Nursing, and I continue to pursue further nursing education. I seek to contribute clinical judgment, teaching ability and dependable teamwork to a patient-focused organization.
