At GlobalLogic (Expedia Group), I build Java and Spring Boot microservices for booking, pricing, and inventory flows. I contributed to migrating legacy modules into independently deployable services and reduced latency on search and pricing endpoints by rolling out Redis caching and optimizing connection pooling.
I also redesigned communication between booking and inventory services with gRPC and Protocol Buffers, and built Kafka-based workflows for booking confirmations and notifications. I containerize services with Docker, deploy on AWS, and support production incidents using Splunk, Kibana, and Datadog.
